A Message From the Secretary

Greetings and welcome to the Maryland Department of Transportation's (MDOT) online Policy and Directives Manual. As part of our OneMDOT initiative, this online site will house all MDOT policies and supporting documents necessary for us to succeed as a team. It is my hope that this resource will provide everyone with one dedicated a place to go for the information we each need. Your cooperation and patience throughout this three year policy project is greatly appreciated. As previous policies are revised or rescinded and new policies are approved, they will be included on this site. If you have any questions or feedback about the online manual or the policy project itself, you may email MDOTPolicyProject@mdot.state.md.us. How to Get StartedFor a Basic overview of the Wiki Please see How to use the Policy Wiki. To get started, select your respective Business unit on the left hand side of the Wiki. MDOT wide policies are listed at the top of the Business Unit List and Apply the policies in that category apply to every Business Unit.
